About the Project
Colorado Libraries 2.0 is a learning program to help library staff become familiar with Web 2.0 tools. The program is designed in modules associated with categories of tools:
- Communication
- Collaboration
- Visual Communications
- Personal Learning Environments
- Productivity Tools
- Social Networking
- Books and Reading
- A capstone project – Your PLE
Information on each Web 2.0 tool is organized in the following way:
- An overview of the category
- The What – A description of a Web 2.0 tool within the category
- The Why – Examples of the tool’s relevance to libraries
- The How – An exercise using the tool and opportunity to reflect on the tool
- More for the Curious – Similar tools to the one highlighted in The What, articles or other relevant links
